Buchvorstellung und Diskussionen zum Buch „In einer Welt der Ruinen“ – Gespräche von Indigener Anarchie

Das Buch wurde letztes Jahr (2022) im Selbstverlag veröffentlicht. Es handelt sich um eine Zusammenstellung von Texten, die jeweils im Original auf Englisch von Indigenen Autor·innen verfasst und bis auf zwei Ausnahmen allesamt innerhalb der letzten 10 Jahre veröffentlicht wurden. Die Texte handeln von den Kämpfen um Selbstbestimmung, totale Befreiung und Souveränität auf Indigenen Ländern jenes Kontinents, der hier in Europa vor allem als Nordamerika bekannt ist. Die Autor·innen berichten von den vielfältigen Formen des Widerstands gegen Invasion, Beraubung und/oder Auslöschung Indigener Länder und Lebensweisen, sowie deren systematische Beherrschung und Ausbeutung zum Nutzen der angreifenden nicht-Indigenen Gesellschaftsordnung. Wir wollen mit euch anhand von ausgewählten Beiträgen über die hiesigen Kontexte und deren Verortung diskutieren, sowie über Lebensräume, die befähigen und einander tragen. Mit dieser Buchvorstellung laden wir euch zu Gesprächen ein, die sowohl die Kritik Indigener Menschen an Kolonialismus und Zivilisation in unseren Kontexten und europäisch geprägten herrschaftsfreien Analysen miteinbeziehen, als auch die Bedeutung des Indigenen Einflusses auf anarchistische Kämpfe beachten, denn dieser hat – jenseits jeder strategischen Auswertung – die Kraft unsere Sichtweise auf Anarchie als Ganzes zu verändern. Die Buchvorstellung wird auf Deutsch mit simultaner englischer stattfinden, sämtliche Textausschnitte werden ebenfalls auf Englisch vorhanden sein.
Book presentation and discussion on the book „In a World of Ruines“ – – conversations of indigenous anarchy.
The book was self-published last year (2022). It contains a compilation of text, each originally published in english written by different indigenous authors, and all but two were published within the past ten years. The contributions are about the fights for self-determination, total liberation and sovereignty on indigenous lands of that continent, which here in europe is known primarily as north america. The authors tell of the many forms of resistance to invasion, dispossession, and/or eradication of indigenous lands and lives, and its systematic domination and exploitation to benefit the attacking non-indigenous social order. Through selected contributions, we want to discuss with you local contexts here, place, and surroundings that nourish and enable. With this book presentation, we invite you to conversations that both include indigenous critiques of colonialism and civilization into our contexts, into european-informed, domination-free analyses, and that consider the importance of indigenous influence on anarchist struggles, because it has the power, beyond any strategic evaluation, to change our view of anarchy as a whole. The book presentation will be in german with simultaneous english translation, all text excerpts will also be available in english.
