Hang on to eachother ~ anti-repression, the stop cop city struggle, and other reflections from turtle island.
Talk and discussion. May 4th, 2025, 6pm, at Kalabal!k, Reichenbergerstr. 63a.
Reflections on the resistance to the construction of Cop City, a militarized police training facility in the Weelaunee forest in so called Atlanta, Georgia and the ongoing struggle to maintain resistance while supporting eachother through state repression. The focus of the talk is meant to engage a broader discussion on the changes of repressive environments, collective legal strategies, and building up solidarity, connection and support for the 61 defendants facing trial for charges of violating the Georgia State RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) act.
